Welcome to Tulsa and the 50th Anniversary of the Mercury Cougar. We want to welcome everyone to one of the best stops on Route 66. Weather in Oklahoma can be unpredictable. We are working through the final logistics to work around the possible weather, but the forecast today shows the rain out of here by early Saturday morning.
If you are a registered car and have planned on attending the cruise, the current plan is to hope the rain moves out early and we can have the cruise, as scheduled. Police escort to be provided.
The inclimate weather option is: Park the cars on the concrete walkways under the barn areas at the livestock complex. There will not be any event in that facility this weekend, so there is plenty of room to put the cars under cover. We will then proceed to Baxter's Interurban Grill at 717 S. Houston for a 6:30 Meet and Greet. Hors d'oeuvre's will be provided. I will have room for 4 in my truck and I am sure other MACC members in attendance would have space in their vehicles to assist.
I just keep praying for clear and sunny Friday and Saturday.
